I am able to get:
PSU capacitor:
Nichicon KA series 1000uF 16V x 10pcs
Diode Rectifier: VISHAY BYW36-TR <-- Can i use these ? They have the soft recovery characteristics...glass material... very close to what you are suggesting BGY20 ??
Low Value ByPass capacitors: I am able to get
C0G capacitors only(ceramic).... some say they are just like NPO ?
Resistors in signal path: I use
Carbon 250mW, else where Metal film ~1W.
One problem is the Transformer, what to choose ?
Toroid or PCB transformer ? What the VA rating should be ? Less VA means more ripple ?
I have 236V RMS AC coming out from the home outlets.
Would it be a good idea to get toroidal 12V-0 12V-0 toroidal transformer( 15VA) ??
Or maybe some Encapsulated 12-14VA 12V-0 12V-0 PCB transformer ??

у меня ещё дома завалилось куча других трансформаторов как:
1. PCB 15V-0 15V-0 (7VA) 200mA+200mA INDEL
2. PCB 18V-0 18V-0 (6VA) 190mA+190mA INDEL
3. C креплением трансформер 16V-0-16V "Center Tapped" 400mA+400mA
если снизить напряжение до ~14В - 15В то может не придется новые заказовать?
